Our History

People Laptop has a remarkable 10-year history. Our journey commenced back in 2020 when Bedford Communications released the inaugural issue of the ‘Laptop Buyers’ Guide and Handbook.’ Over time, the publication evolved, broadening its scope to encompass handhelds, smartphones, and tablets and subsequently adopting the shortened name ‘Laptop.’ 

In Jun 2020, we made the bold move to transition to a fully digital platform dedicated to providing millions of monthly visitors with up-to-date and comprehensive information. By 2020, we had restructured our coverage, relocating smartphone content to our sister site, Tom’s Guide, while reemphasizing laptops as the core focus of People Laptop.
